Postpartum Village Care Package
You’ve just returned home from the hospital, and while you’re relieved to be back, you’re also feeling exhausted, in pain, and managing a baby who is cluster feeding. Although you have some support, they will soon need to leave. What will you do?
This package is thoughtfully designed with you in mind. I will be there for you 2 to 4 hours a day, 2 days a week, for six weeks. My support includes everything from postpartum breastfeeding help, tidying your home, preparing meals, to caring for older children, all while allowing you the chance to rest, take a shower, and focus on yourself. This is non-medical interventions and support.
I am also knowledgeable about the signs and symptoms of postpartum depression and psychosis, enabling me to help you seek medical treatment more quickly. This package aims to support moms before they experience postpartum depression, though some may leave the hospital with it due to traumatic experiences without realizing it. My goal is to illuminate the path through the darkness rather than leaving them to navigate it alone.

Price: $1,200 (insurance may cover the lactation portion of visit depending on the insurance)
This package can be broken up in different ways depending on each individual circumstance. The entire payment can be made all at once or broken up into weekly payments.
In-home Lactation Visit
Get personal support from an IBCLC in the comfort of your home for all breastfeeding needs. This includes but is not limited to latch help, milk transfer checks, pre and post weights, and pump guidance—including flange sizing, proper use, and gentle weaning. This service is open to moms throughout their postpartum journey. This service is about an hour in length and includes one week of email/text support.
Price: $120 (insurance should reimburse you for visit) Travel fee not included if outside of Martinsville ($25)
